The calendar takes its origin from the Prophet's migration from Mecca to Medina, and was adopted as the starting point for dating during the caliphate of Umar ibn al-Khattab. What wording suits an Islamic New Year greeting?
The most used are wishing you well for another year, a happy Hijri year, may God return it to you with peace and blessing, and may He make it a year of good for you. Institutions suit brief wording with the logo. Put the Hijri year number on the design, since that is what distinguishes this post from last year's. What design suits an Islamic New Year post?
Quiet colours such as navy, gold and deep green, one motif like a crescent, Islamic ornament or an architectural arch, and a clear Arabic script.
