Answers to the most common questions about Andalusi subscriptions and design tools.
You subscribe from inside the app, and Apple handles the payment: 1. Open the Andalusi app. 2. Go to "Settings", then "Andalusi Pro". 3. Choose the plan that suits you (monthly or yearly). 4. Confirm the purchase with Face ID, Touch ID, or your Apple ID password. Good to know: • You need a valid payment method on your Apple ID before subscribing. To add one: Settings → your name → "Payment & Shipping" → "Add Payment Method". • If you've subscribed before and the features are still locked, tap "Restore Purchases" on the same screen. Tap your name at the top of the screen. 3. Tap "Subscriptions". 4. Select your Andalusi subscription. 5. Tap "Cancel Subscription" and confirm. Good to know: • Cancelling only stops auto-renewal — your subscription features stay available until the end of the current paid period. • Deleting the app does not cancel the subscription. • If you don't see a cancel button, the subscription is already cancelled and won't renew. https://support.google.com/googleplay/answer/7018481Purchases in Andalusi are processed by the Apple App Store or Google Play, so refund requests go to them directly — Andalusi cannot issue a refund on your behalf. On iPhone or iPad: 1. Open Apple's "Report a Problem" page linked below. 2. Sign in with the Apple ID used for the purchase. 3. Select the purchase, choose "Request a refund", and pick a reason. On Android: open the Google Play Store → profile → "Payments & subscriptions" → "Budget & history", then select the order and request a refund. Approving or declining a refund is entirely Apple's or Google's decision. Apple's Report a Problem page:
https://reportaproblem.apple.comAndalusi subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period unless you turn renewal off at least 24 hours beforehand. If a charge surprised you, check your subscriptions first: • iPhone or iPad: Settings → your name → "Subscriptions". • Android: Google Play Store → profile → "Payments & subscriptions" → "Subscriptions". You'll see your current plan and next renewal date, and you can turn renewal off from that same screen. Turning it off doesn't cancel the period you already paid for — your features stay available until it ends. If the charge is still unexpected, check whether an older subscription exists on another account you use on the same device. Manage subscriptions with Apple:
https://support.apple.com/en-us/118428Open the Files app and navigate to the Andalusi folder — you'll find a Fonts folder. Deleting fonts from that folder removes them from the app.
Andalusi supports installing custom fonts for free on both iOS and Android: 1. Download the font file you want (TTF or OTF) to your device. 2. Open Andalusi and go to the font list in the editor. 3. Choose "Installed fonts" and add the font file from your device. 4. The font appears in your font list straight away, ready to use in any design. To remove an installed font: open the Files app → Andalusi folder → Fonts folder, and delete the file there.
Andalusi's fonts can be used in personal and commercial designs according to each font's licence. Terms vary between fonts because some come from third-party foundries, so if the design is for a client, a brand, or a product you sell, check that specific font's licence first. For fonts you install yourself from outside the app, licensing remains the responsibility of the original source. If you're unsure about a particular font, message us with its name and we'll clarify.
When you finish a design, tap export or save — you can store it in your device's photo library or share it straight to another app. Your projects also stay inside Andalusi so you can edit them later. With a Pro subscription you can export at higher quality and without a watermark, and export as PDF. If a design won't save, check that Andalusi has permission to access Photos in your device settings and that you have enough free storage.
Yes. Andalusi is available for Android phones on Google Play, and for iPhone and iPad on the App Store, with the same features, fonts, and template library. If you can't find it in the store, make sure your device software is up to date and search for "Andalusi" or "أندلسي" — or open the link below directly. Get Andalusi on Google Play:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.andalusi.app.androidOn iPad: yes — download it from the App Store and it runs on iPad. On a computer: there's a beta web version that runs in the browser at design.andalusi.app, designed for desktop-sized screens. There's no standalone Windows or macOS app at the moment, and the mobile app remains the most complete experience.
Downloading and using Andalusi is completely free — you can design and save on the free plan without paying anything. A paid subscription (Andalusi Pro) adds: • All professional templates, fonts, elements, and calligraphy unlocked. • The full AI toolset (background removal, object removal, image expansion, and more). • Higher-quality exports with no watermark. • Unlimited saved projects. You can try the app for free first and subscribe whenever you're ready.
Try these steps in order; they resolve most cases: 1. Update Andalusi to the latest version from the App Store or Google Play. 2. Restart your device. 3. Make sure you have enough free storage — a full device is a common cause of crashes when opening or exporting a large design. 4. Check your internet connection, since templates and AI tools need one. 5. Close background apps to free up memory. If it still happens, message us with your device model, OS version, and exactly what you were doing (a screen recording helps) and we'll take a look.
