When is Saudi Flag Day?
The eleventh of March each year, established by royal order in 2023 to mark the adoption of the flag in the era of King Abdulaziz. It is the third national occasion alongside Founding Day and National Day. Andalusi has a separate template set for each.
What does the Saudi flag signify?
It carries the shahada in Thuluth script above a sword on a green field, the green standing for growth and the sword for justice and strength. The flag is never lowered to half mast or placed on the ground, out of respect for what it carries. Andalusi's national templates follow those conventions.
