Mind Maps and Concept Maps

Which one do you actually need?
A mind map branches out from a single idea in the centre; a concept map links several concepts with named relationships between them. The first is for thinking, the second for revision, and picking the right shape is half the work.

What can you design?

  • Concept maps ready-made or blank to fill in

  • Mind maps for organising ideas and brainstorming

  • Lesson summary and revision diagrams

  • Colour maps for homework and presentations

  • Flow charts and knowledge trees

Can you change the number of branches?
Yes. Add or remove branches and adjust their colours and sizes to fit your subject. The layouts run right to left in clear Arabic fonts suited to study material.

الأسئلة الشائعة

What makes an infographic understandable?
One idea per chart rather than five, a clear top-to-bottom sequence the eye follows on its own, and an icon per point instead of a paragraph. Give each point a single line rather than two sentences, and number them where the order matters. Andalusi has infographic templates with ready flows you can edit.
How do I present figures inside a chart?
Set the number very large with a line beneath explaining what it means, and keep to four figures per chart. Use one strong colour for the numbers and quiet colours for the rest, and cite the source and its date in small type at the foot, since an unsourced figure is not believed. Andalusi has figure and comparison layouts ready.
Which infographic types are most used?
A step chart to explain a process, a comparison chart between two options, a list chart for tips or habits, a figures chart for statistics, and a timeline for a historical sequence. Choose by the shape of the information rather than by the layout you like. Andalusi has templates for all five.
Where is an infographic used?
In awareness posts and educational accounts, on school and hospital display boards, in reports and presentations, in brochures, and to explain a service to a client. Infographics are the most saved and shared content type, since people return to them. For print choose a high resolution, as they carry small text. Andalusi exports digital and print sizes.
