Hajj Season Designs

Who are these for?
Two different users. A family congratulating or seeing off a pilgrim needs a personal card; a Hajj campaign office needs an advert with packages, prices and booking details. The category is split along that line.

What can you design?

  • Congratulation and farewell cards for pilgrims

  • Posts for the ten days of Dhul Hijjah and Arafah

  • Dua and verse cards in Arabic calligraphy

  • Hajj campaign adverts with packages and prices

  • Ready backgrounds of the Haramain and the Kaaba

Are Haramain backgrounds included?
Yes. High-quality images of the Kaaba and the two Holy Mosques sit inside the templates, so there is no sourcing a photo or checking its rights before you publish.

الأسئلة الشائعة

How do you greet a pilgrim before they travel?
The customary wording asks that their pilgrimage be accepted and that they return safely and rewarded, with a request to be remembered in their supplications at the holy sites. Seeing a pilgrim off with a prayer for ease is encouraged. Andalusi covers a farewell card in their name and a matching welcome banner for their return.
How do you greet a pilgrim on their return?
The customary wording wishes them an accepted pilgrimage, a rewarded effort and forgiven sins. Some families hold a welcome meal and hang a banner in the pilgrim's name at the house. Putting the year on the design keeps it as a keepsake. Andalusi sets the banner and the card in one script and palette.
When is the Hajj season?
It runs from the eighth of Dhul Hijjah to the twelfth or thirteenth, with its greatest day at Arafah on the ninth, followed by Eid al-Adha on the tenth. Preparations and greetings begin weeks earlier as the month opens. Andalusi lets you design the season's cards early and update the date on announcement.
What design suits a Hajj card?
A calm sand or deep green background with an architectural image or light ornament, a Thuluth line for the wording and the pilgrim's name in a clearer script. Keep personal photographs taken inside the sanctuary out of the design, out of respect for the place. Andalusi has Hajj layouts at card and banner sizes.
