Food and Restaurant Designs

What makes a food post work?
The photograph, and how much of the frame it gets. Food is bought with the eyes, so the dish should fill most of the design and the text should sit on the quiet part of the image rather than across the food itself.

What can you design?

  • Dish and meal posts

  • Restaurant offers and combos

  • Delivery and contact details

  • Menu and price announcements

  • Ramadan and occasion offers

  • Stories and reels for food accounts

How do you improve a dish photo before posting?
Adjust the brightness and warmth inside Andalusi, and remove the background when you want the dish cut out over a colour. A slightly warmer image reads as more appetising than the same shot straight from the phone.

الأسئلة الشائعة

How do I edit photographs of Arabic food to look more appetising?
Lift the warmth slightly, since Arabic cooking is rich in earthy and golden tones like kabsa, mandi and pastries, and raise contrast a little to bring out the sheen of oil and the texture. Do not push saturation far, or the meat looks artificial. Shoot the dish hot so the steam shows. Andalusi places the image with the name and price.
Do I need a professional camera to photograph food?
No. Lighting and composition matter more than the camera, and your phone is enough. Shoot with side light from a window rather than a front flash, which flattens the dish and kills its texture, and put a white sheet opposite to soften the shadow. Shoot flat dishes from above and tall ones at forty five degrees. Andalusi builds the post straight from your photograph.
How do I style a dish before photographing it?
Use a plain plate in a colour that contrasts with the food, and wipe the rim first, since a smear of sauce there ruins a photograph more than anything. Add two props at most, a spoon and a cloth rather than a full table setting, and leave space around the plate. Andalusi sets the image on a background that complements its colours.
What designs does a home food business need?
A menu with prices, a post per dish with its photograph, a post giving collection times and how to order, a brochure or introduction to the business, and a packaging label carrying its name. The menu is the most asked for, since customers want it before anything else. Andalusi builds the whole set on one identity.
