New Year Greetings

Two new years, one category
Most card sites serve one calendar. This one covers both the Hijri new year and the Gregorian, because plenty of people mark both, and the wording and the ornament differ between them.

What can you design?

  • Hijri New Year greeting cards

  • Gregorian New Year greetings

  • Posts and stories for the start of the year

  • Official greetings carrying a company logo for clients

  • Goal and plan designs for the year ahead

What actually changes each year?
The number, mostly. The year is editable text rather than part of the artwork, so last year's design comes back with two digits changed. Export it still, or as a short clip for stories and WhatsApp.

الأسئلة الشائعة

How do I make a new year photo collage?
Pick nine photographs that stand for the months rather than random ones, set them in an even three by three grid, and unify them with a single filter so they do not look scattered. Leave space in the middle or along the bottom for the year. Andalusi has collage layouts at post and story sizes.
What wording suits a new year greeting?
The most used speak of a fresh page and wish you closer to what you hope for, or wish a year that carries what earlier ones could not. Naming one specific wish convinces more than listing several. Andalusi sets it on a card or a post beside a photo from the year gone.
How do I design a new year goals post?
Write three goals at most, each as a measurable action such as reading a book a month rather than simply reading more. Leave plenty of empty space, since long lists go unread. Repost it mid year as a review. Save the template in Andalusi and reuse it annually.
How does the Gregorian new year differ from the Hijri one?
The Gregorian year begins on the first of January on a solar calendar. The Hijri year begins with Muharram on a lunar one, moving about eleven days earlier annually. The tone of the greeting differs, the Hijri one leaning towards supplication. Andalusi has a separate template set for each.
