The First Ten Days of Dhul Hijjah

Why do the ten days suit a post series?
Because they are ten consecutive days with a known start and end, so daily content is expected rather than intrusive. One template with only the day number changing builds a series a follower recognises by the second day.

What can you design?

  • Posts on the merit of the ten days

  • A day counter from one to ten

  • Takbir designs for the season

  • Reminders to fast the Day of Arafah

  • Duas and remembrance for the blessed days

  • Greetings for the start of Dhul Hijjah

How do you build the ten-day series?
Start from one template, fix the colours and the font, and change only the day number and its text. Set the wording in an Andalusi Arabic font and export all ten before the month starts, so nothing is rushed on the day.

الأسئلة الشائعة

What makes the first ten days of Dhul Hijjah significant?
They are reported as the best days of the year, in which righteous deeds are most beloved to God, and they contain the Day of Arafah and the Day of Sacrifice. Fasting, remembrance, takbir, charity and keeping family ties are all encouraged. Andalusi lets you build a day-by-day countdown series in one design.
What is the takbir formula in Dhul Hijjah?
The well known wording repeats the greatness of God, affirms that there is no god but Him, and closes with praise belonging to Him. The unrestricted takbir begins with the month and continues to the last of the days of Tashreeq, said aloud in mosques and streets. Andalusi sets it in a clear script to share through the ten.
What deeds are encouraged in the ten days?
Fasting, especially on Arafah, abundant takbir and tahlil, charity, reciting the Quran, honouring parents and keeping family ties, and the sacrifice for whoever is able. Choosing one act to hold to across the whole ten works better than scattering effort. Andalusi lets you design a card of them to share on the first day.
What occasions fall in Dhul Hijjah?
The month opens with the first ten days, then Arafah on the ninth, Eid al-Adha on the tenth, and the three days of Tashreeq. It is the month of the pilgrimage and one of the four sacred months. Prepare the whole month's designs early and publish them in sequence. Andalusi covers the set from one identity.
