Ready Photo Layouts

What is a layout template?
A frame divided into fixed slots that you drop your photos into, so they come out aligned and evenly spaced without any manual work. You choose how many slots and what shape, and the template handles the margins and alignment.

What can you design?

  • Two, three and four up layouts, and grids

  • Photo frames in varied shapes and sizes

  • Occasion sets and keepsake arrangements

  • Square post and vertical story sizes

  • Coloured dividers and backgrounds between photos

  • Layouts with room for a caption or date

Can you write over the layout?
Yes. Add a title, a caption or a date in an Andalusi Arabic font over any part of the design, and set its colour and position. Export at high resolution for posting or print.

الأسئلة الشائعة

What is a layout grid and why does it matter?
The grid is the structure the elements sit on: fixed columns, rows and margins. It is what makes a design look ordered even when its parts are simple, and its absence is why a design can feel wrong without your being able to say why. The simplest useful grid is three columns by three rows. Andalusi's templates come with grids already set.
Where should the main element sit in a design?
On a third-line intersection rather than dead centre, since the centre reads as static while a third reads as balanced. Put the most important element on the upper third where the design is read downwards, and on the right third for Arabic text, and leave an even margin on all four sides. Andalusi's templates carry third-line guides.
How much empty space does a design need?
At least a third, and more the more premium the design should feel. Empty space is not wasted space; it is what lets the eye find the important element, while a full design makes everything in it unimportant. Leave at least one full line's height around text. Andalusi's templates come with the spacing already set.
How do I arrange several elements in one design?
Order them by importance rather than at equal size: one large element, two medium, and the remaining detail small. Align their edges to a common line, since alignment is what separates an ordered design from a random one, and keep the gaps between them equal. Andalusi handles the alignment and spacing in its templates.
