Add speech bubbles to your designs: solid bubbles in varied shapes on transparent backgrounds to hold dialogue, a comment or a customer's words.
Start designingWhy do bubble shapes differ?
Because the shape sets the kind of speech: rounded for ordinary talk, jagged for a shout or a shock, cloud-shaped for a thought rather than something said. The wrong shape contradicts the tone of the text inside it.
What can you design with them?
Illustrated dialogue and conversations
Customer testimonials

Which way should the tail point?
Always toward the speaker, and short rather than stretched. A long tail starts to look like an arrow, and one pointing at empty space leaves the reader hunting for who spoke.
